Welcome to the new IGNITE Community page!! This section of the website is designed to be a place of fellowship and interaction with each other, centered around edifying each other in the love of Christ. As of yet, three primary sections of the community place are:
IGNITE Blogs - A place where you, yes, you - can share your thoughts, testimonies, and revelation of Jesus on your own personal journey with Him. Feel free to write any time, and send it over to couchs@gmail.com to be put up on the web. Also, look for specific highlighted themes to write about. A great word by Scott Monk below:
“Then
they that feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened
to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was
written to record the names of those who feared him and loved to think
about him. ‘They will be my people,’ says the Lord Almighty.
‘On the day when I act, they will be my own special treasure.
I will spare them as a father spares an obedient and dutiful child.’”
-Malachi 3:16-17
There
is something about a sweet exchange with brothers that touches the Lord’s
heart, and edifying conversation is his gift to us. Maybe you
know the kind I am talking about: it challenges your established paradigms
and shakes you up a bit, leaving you slightly disoriented - in a good
way. It stirs you to hunger for the truth and not settle for neat
clichés or formless theories. It draws your heart out and brings
spiritual clarity, revealing where you place your trust and in what
you hope. And it sharpens, forcing you to materialize into a communicable
form what was once just a muddled fog of impressions deep within.
This
unfurling of expression has the glorious effect of making room for Truth’s
seeds to grow and blossom in our spirits. Light from without is
made to shine upon them, and they are drawn upward, no longer stunted
by stagnancy. It is to this end that we come together in an on-going
dialogue to flesh out the truth and come into the collective “mind
of Christ.” …….
